It is with great disappointment that our State Government has decided that Regional Gyms will not re open this Friday 4th June as first hoped. We can only hope they will allow the industry to re open shortly and we will post any updates.
Acting Premier James Merlino has announced another lockdown due to Covid-19. At this stage the the “circuit-breaker lockdown” will commence at 11.59pm May 27th 2021 be in place until 11:59pm on June 3 2021, pending Government’s announcements and advice. As the the other lockdowns, we will be extending current members expiry dates for the duration we a closed. Take care and we hope to see you sooner rather than later.
QR Codes must be implemented as per state Government regulations by 6.00 pm Friday 23 April 2021 As we are included in the business’ that require the QR “Check – In Now” Code, we require anyone attending our center to scan in. What this means is that when you attend our facility, you need to scan the government QR code and also signing in using our-sign in sheet as normal….
The statewide lockdown is to be lifted at 11.59 tonight (Wednesday 17/02/21). This means that gym will be reopened at 4am Thursday morning. All memberships have been put on hold over snap lockdown and this time will be added. The state government has just announced that the state of Victoria will be going into Stage 4 lock down due to a Covid -19 outbreak. We will close from 11 pm tonight (Friday 12/02) until and re opening 4 am Thursday 18/02. This information is accurate at the time of publishing and may change. Stay well, stay safe.
Yes, it is true! We can reopen this Wednesday 28th October from 4 am.This is great news and I am sure is a relief to many. As it stands, there was virtually no mention in changes for Regional Victoria in today’s Media Release. Sadly, this leaves us all hung out to dry without any reopening date or even an approximate date that we can plan for. Exercise and recreation – Step 3 “Outdoor contact and non-contact sport for people aged 18 and younger, outdoor non-contact sport only for adults, with gathering and density limits, outdoor skateparks open, outdoor fitness for groups of 10 people”. As step 3 is only relates to outdoors, it looks like our re opening is step 4. We will keep you updated when we find out more news.
As it stands, we will NOT be able to open on Monday the 14th as we had hoped. We have been allocated into the “Third Step” of the Covid Road Map. We can re-open in the “Third Step”. From 11:59pm on Wednesday, regional Victoria will return to Stage 3 “Stay at Home” restrictions. This sadly means that gyms will need to close again as per the original Stage 3 lockdown rules.
